Country Platters was established in 1993 in Evercreech in Somerset, U.K.  The business has always been conducted, during the summer months of May until late September, at a mixture of outdoor shows such as Agricultural Shows and Horse Trials, Flower Shows and Game and Country Fairs.

In the winter months we go indoors to Charity Fairs held all over the country.  From early December until the end of April, we look for exciting, new products to bring you in between washing and mending marquees, overhauling the lorry and generally taking stock of the business.

Country Platters is a partnership.  We travel the country in a geriatric dark green horse box, in which there is living accommodation and we have three dogs - 2 Basset Hounds, Dolly and Bertie and a Wire Haired Dachshund - Boggy.  We live in a very beautiful part of Somerset where the weather is pretty good and the scrumpy is better.
